Now What??

Two sweet ladies came to the sewing doll class yesterday.  We had such a good time and they loved the individual attention they received since it was just the two of them.  They worked on their dolls and got them completed except for the staining part which will be done at home.  Can't wait to see their finished dolls.

Pat shows off a piece of vintage cross stitch that she added to her apron.  Since it was just the two of them, we got a little more creative and dug in some of my vintage linens.  You should have been here!
Pat digs through the button box looking for just the right buttons for her doll.
Bonnie finishes up some hand stitching on her doll apron.
I made a doll along with Bonnie and Pat.  Here she is in progress.  I'll post pictures later of our finished dolls.  I have another large group meeting in a couple of weeks.  It will be interesting to see how their sewing dolls turn out.
First thing this morning I got out this huge log cabin quilt and put on the final border.  I started this project more than a year ago.  Got all the blocks finished and put them away.  A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to put it together since my bedroom has been painted and is waiting on this quilt to pull it all together.  So, ta-da, done!  One thing checked off the list.
Now what on earth is going on in the work room?!  It's a disaster.....like a tornado blew through.  Just tornado Sharon tearing things apart.  I have decided to take down a wall in the room to open up the space and had planned on doing that the end of the month.  Well, I discovered I don't have any classes until Tuesday and my hubby and I are now staying home for Easter, so here we go on another adventure.  I know my husband is thinking we haven't even finished one project and we're on to another..............but the other project is on hold right now and I sure don't want to waste any time!!

The shelves in my paper room are empty.  All of this will come down.  I'm a little nervous about losing all that storage space but I need more floor space in the room too.  Hopefully what's in my head will all work out.  But oh my goodness, what a lot of work to do to get it to that point.

So, what's going on in your neck of the woods?  Any walls coming down at your house?

  1. I wish I could have gone to the class but Dear Hubby is home on spring break and he had plans. Kind of like yours, old remodeling projects that needed to be finished. Hope you get out of your head what you're thinking and it all works out.
